OCEAN CITY, Md. - The event organizer of OC Bike Fest turned himself into jail in Florida for allegedly writing more than $500,000 in worthless checks in Florida.
NBC affiliate in Panama City Beach, WJHG, is reporting that a warrant was issued for Chase Micheal a couple of weeks ago and he surrendered on Thursday.
The Bay County Sheriff's office told WJHG that Micheal was charged with 22 felony counts of giving a worthless check.
WJHG reports that Micheal made his first court appearance Friday and could face decades behind bars with a bond currently set at $44,000.
