EASTON, Md.- One person has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a house fire in Easton.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal says the fire started in the kitchen in the house on Janets Way.
The occupant collapsed after finding the fire and called 911. That person had to be rescued by firefighters.
The occupant is still in the hospital.
As for the fire, the marshal says it caused about $10,000 in damage. The cause is still under investigation.
