Road work to close part of Benny Street in Salisbury for two days

According to the City of Salisbury, a private contractor will begin milling and paving work on Benny Street starting Wednesday, July 9, weather permitting. 

SALISBURY, Md. - According to the City of Salisbury, a private contractor will begin milling and paving work on Benny Street starting Wednesday, July 9, weather permitting. The project will take place between Naylor Street and Marshall Street and is expected to last about two days.

During construction, that portion of Benny Street will be closed to traffic. Detours will be marked via Naylor Street and Marshall Street.

While locals are not expected to relocate, city officials say they should plan accordingly for temporary access restrictions.
