BERLIN, Md. - The speed limit for Grays Corner Road (Route 707) in Berlin, from Race Track Road to Riddle Lane, has changed to 40mph, says Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT).
According to MDOT, the change from the old limit of 50mph came as a result of a study gauging community concerns. They say that the new speed limit will improve safety for everyone.
MDOT says that new speed limit signs have already been placed to indicate the change.
