GEORGETOWN, Del. - A crash at the intersection of Route 9 and Gravel Hill Road Saturday night sent at least one person to the hospital.
Delaware State Police posted on X, formally known as Twitter, a little before 7 p.m. to say that area of the roadway had been closed due to a crash. By 7:30, the agency commented that the roadway had been reopened.
Georgetown Fire Company crews on scene tell CoastTV News that one vehicle involved rolled over and at least one person was sent to the hospital. However, the agency says thankfully no one was badly injured.
The Milton Fire Department posted photos on Facebook that show how the other vehicle was smashed in the front.
CoastTV News reached out to Delaware State Police about this accident and at this time is awaiting more information about what led up to it and the extent of any injuries.
