Police say approximately 12 students later reported minor injuries to the school nurse. 

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - A school bus crash involving a deer near Route 16 and Race Street occurred Thursday afternoon, but authorities confirm there were no serious injuries.

According to the Cambridge Police Department, officers responded around 4 p.m. after receiving reports of a school bus that had collided with a deer. Staff from Dorchester County Public Schools also arrived at the scene to assist.
