DELAWARE – Prom season isn’t just for teenagers. The Brandywine Valley SPCA is turning the spotlight on their adult dogs with a playful twist on adoption. They're inviting the public to submit "promposals" and take home a furry dance date for just $25.

Now through Sunday, May 18, adoption fees for dogs weighing 30 pounds or more are reduced to $25 at all BVSPCA campuses, the Animal Adoption Center in New Jersey, and during all upcoming events. This campaign is an effort to help older, larger dogs find their forever homes says BVSPCA.

The campaign also includes two special events. On Saturday, May 10, BVSPCA will be at the Christiana Mall for a pop-up adoption event featuring some of their adoptable pets. On Saturday, May 17, their New Castle Campus will host a prom-themed playgroup where people can meet dog-friendly dogs and watch them interact in a natural setting.
