According to Georgetown Police, the accident occurred near the McDonald’s, and northbound traffic is currently being rerouted onto Edward Street.

GEORGETOWN, Del. -According to the Georgetown Police Department, Dupont Highway (Route 113) has re-opened following a crash involving a pedestrian Tuesday morning. According to Georgetown Police, the accident occurred near the McDonald’s, and northbound traffic was  rerouted onto Edward Street.

The Delaware State Police are assisting with the investigation. Drivers were asked to use caution in the area or take alternate routes to avoid delays.

No details have been released yet about the pedestrian’s condition or how the crash occurred. Police say updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
