SEAFORD, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that has now officially become deadly. The accident happened back on November 3, 2023, at the intersection of Woodland Ferry Road and Woodpecker Road.

Around 3:02 p.m., a Chevrolet box truck pulled out in front of a Ford F-150, causing a serious collision. The 58-year-old driver of the F-150 and his 42-year-old passenger were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries. This past Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the driver died. His identity has not been released.

The 22-year-old box truck driver and his 37-year-old passenger also were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
