Ice melt and winter supplies are flying off the shelves at Best Ace Hardware in Lewes as residents prepare for an upcoming storm, prompting the store to limit sales of ice melt to six bags per customer.

As a part of DelDOT's Plantation Road improvements, the previous Best's Ace Hardware is being demolished. That cleared space will allow for an intersection and a roundabout. Locals say seeing the old home come down is bitter sweet.
