A suspicious item discovered Monday afternoon in downtown Salisbury turned out to be harmless, following a response from local fire crews and the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s bomb squad.
Fire crews responded to a brush fire Tuesday afternoon along Long Neck Road near Goose Pond Road, in the developments of Rehoboth Shores and Bay City.
A residential fire at 27728 Sandy Drive, was later determined to be a fast-moving brush fire sparked by burning activity at the property.
