A new photography contest is shining a spotlight on the natural beauty of Cape Henlopen State Park.
More than 120 native trees were planted in Cape Henlopen State Park thanks to a collaborative reforestation effort by the Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park and volunteers from Dogfish Head Brewery, with support from a Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative grant.
The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park (FOCHSP)welcomed members, volunteers and community supporters- including State Senator Russ Huxtable (District 6) and State Representative Claire Snider Hall (District 14) – to their Annual Membership Meeting at the Biden Environmental Center in Cape Henlopen State Park. The event highlighted the organization’s 2024 accomplishments and provided updates on future initiatives.
The Preserve Our Park Coalition and Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park are collaborating on a beach cleanup for National Trails Day June 1.
