DelDOT will inspect several bridges on Route 1 in Sussex County. The inspections will require lane closures each night through Wednesday, July 30.

The cost of electricity is going up in Milford even as it remains low compared to most of the state. The City has announced a 1% increase in its Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) for 2025, maintaining its position among the lowest electric rates in Delaware.

A project to make upgrades to the Walnut Street Bridge that crosses over the Mispillion River will begin on Monday. The City of Milford said it hopes to better traffic infrastructure in the downtown area with this project.

The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced that the Mispllion Draw Bridge is reopening. 

A recent study calls for the investment in ecotourism in Milford and Slaughter Beach. That would then help maintain the area's environment.
