Delmarva will see a hot, muggy, and windy Thursday with scattered severe storms possible late this afternoon into the evening. Friday stays unsettled with lingering showers and storms before a much brighter Father’s Day weekend.

Delmarva will see a cloudy and humid day today as a warm front lifts north, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon into tonight. A few storms could produce damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. Dangerous heat and humidity build Thursday and Friday, with heat index values potentially reaching 95 to 104 degrees and additional severe storm chances.

Sunday will deliver more summer warmth across Delmarva with highs in the 80s and only isolated thunderstorm chances. However, a cold front approaching Sunday night will trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms into early next week, followed by additional unsettled weather as stalled fronts linger and another system nears by the weekend.
