The Georgetown Police Department warns locals of scammers posing as officers, soliciting money or financial information via phone. Locals are advised to be cautious, never share personal info, and verify identities.

The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles and Delaware Toll Operations are warning Delawareans to be aware of an ongoing text scam. 

According to OCPD, scammer used departmental information and a headshot of Chief Buzzuro in emails, threatening arrest if payment was not made.

The Worcester County Sheriff's Office informs the public about a new and ongoing phone scam. The scammer impersonates a member of the Command Staff claiming that the caller has missed Jury Duty and must pay a fine to avoid arrest.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office warns of a rise in telephone and email scams, where scammers impersonate deputies and demand money under false pretenses, threatening legal action. The agency is reminding people not to provide any personal or financial information and to report such incidents to law enforcement, emphasizing the need for continued vigilance against scams.
