A 25-year-old Dover man is in critical condition after being shot by Delaware State Police during a chase involving a stolen car Friday night.

State Rep. Kevin Hensley has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a 2024 drunk driving crash that left another driver hurt. As part of a plea agreement secured by the Delaware Department of Justice, Hensley will lose his driver's license for one year, serve probation and complete mandatory DUI education.

For the 19th consecutive time, the Lower Sussex Little League complex will host the Senior League Softball World Series. Four games are scheduled for the first day on Monday July 29th.  Roxana secured the event in 2003. The World Series was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.
