Worcester County Public Schools outperformed every school system in Maryland in both English/Language Arts and mathematics.

The Art League of Ocean City will be hosting a discussion on artificial intelligence in the arts, led by coordinator of instruction for Worcester County Public Schools, Diane Stulz, on Aug. 10.  “Rather than telling AI to just edit this piece of work, we need to tell it to highlight any recommended edits and to tell me why,” Stulz said in a statement from the league.

A lockdown at Ocean City Elementary School has been lifted following a verbal threat, according to Worcester County Public Schools.  Emergency response procedures were activated, but authorities have found that the threat was unverified.

The breach, reported by PowerSchool on Jan. 7, was part of a larger cyberattack on the company and affected multiple school districts globally.
