FEEL GOOD FRIDAY

Overnight, the pleasant conditions will persist as the high remains overhead. Clear skies and calm winds will allow temperatures to drop into the upper 50s to low 60, setting up one of the coolest and most comfortable summer nights in recent memory.

MUGGY

The weekend will continue the tranquil weather pattern. Broad ridging aloft will keep any storm development suppressed, with highs Saturday in the mid to upper 80s and low humidity under sunny skies. As the high shifts offshore by Sunday, temperatures and moisture will start to creep upward. Highs Sunday are expected to climb into the upper 80s and low 90s, with overnight lows in the 60s to near 70 degrees.

POPS

Looking ahead to early next week, return flow from the Atlantic and an approaching trough near the Great Lakes will usher in a more unsettled pattern. Temperatures will trend slightly above normal, and humidity levels will increase, especially by midweek. The greatest chances for showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, although any severe weather threats remain uncertain at this time. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s, with muggy overnight lows in the mid 60s to mid 70s.
