MARYLAND - Drivers planning to travel across the Bay Bridge on Sunday, Nov. 12 should plan for delays due to the Bay Bridge Run event.

The Maryland Transportation Authority announced a scheduled closure of the eastbound Bay Bridge from approximately 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, weather permitting.

According to the MDTA, there will be two-way traffic operations in place on the westbound span of the bridge. MDTA says one lane of traffic will operate in each direction on the westbound span, with the center lane closed to traffic.

MDTA says drivers should expect significant delays throughout the day and drivers are advised to travel before 6:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m.
