CAMBRIDGE, Md. - On Monday, Cambridge city council voted to adopt a new teen curfew ordinance that goes into affect Sunday, Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 2024.
The city says teens under 16 years-old will not be allowed in a public place within the city between 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and 11 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The city says exceptions to the curfew include when a teenager is with a parent or is on his or her way home from work or a school activity.
