DOVER, Del.- The City of Dover is warning people about scam phone calls asking for money.
According to the city, callers are threatening to shut off people's electricity in 30 minutes unless a payment is made.
The calls have referenced Delmarva Power and Dover Utility.
The city says it will never demand payment over the phone. The customer service desk can help with questions about accounts.
