Georgetown, De- Gas prices are starting to fall in Delaware.
The average tank of gas will cost the average consumer around six dollars and forty eight cents a gallon in the First State- that is thirteen cents lower than last week according to AAA. But that is much higher compared to gas prices this time last year, which was two dollars and ninety-nine cents a gallon.
While the falling prices may be a good thing, some consumers still find the prices to be too high. People like Millsboro resident Shirley Harrell thinks of the gas prices as a major detriment.
"You can't go out as much as you normally do cause of the gas price, because you're trying to save the gas so you can make money to pay for the gas," she said.
The national average at the pump is currently four dollars and seventy seven cents.
