DELAWARE - The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control announced three new superintendents at Delaware state parks.
Lindsey Goebel is the superintendent at the Delaware Seashore State Park. Goebel's background includes a bachelor's degree in recreation and park management from Frostburg State University, extensive outdoor recreation experience, and recognition from the division with awards like Outstanding Achiever and the prestigious Mohr Jennings Award.
Tyeast Amankwah is now the superintendent at Auburn Valley State Park. Amankwah has been a member of the DNREC division of parks and recreation for 23 years. Starting her journey in 2000 as an administrative specialist with Wilmington State Parks and progressed to assistant park superintendent at Bellevue State Park.
Diana Marsteller is now the superintendent at Brandywine Creek State Park. Marsteller previously served as a state park ranger lead for their training division and contributed to various park operations. Marsteller holds a master's degree in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University and possesses multiple professional certifications, including instructing trainings for emergency medical responders.
These three superintendents will oversee daily park operations, including staff management, maintenance coordination and community engagement.
