MILLSBORO, Del. - The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company answered a carbon monoxide alert in Millsboro on the evening of June 14. The CO alarm went off inside a home on West Waters Edge Trail, according to the fire company.
The fire company said the cause of the alarm was a faulty detector. This was determined by checking both the outdoor and indoor gas meters.
Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard station and Engine 80 from the Long Neck station responded to the home, according to the fire company.
