Milford, Del.- In an effort to enhance the city's bicycle infrastructure, the City of Milford plans to implement a striping project along Marshall Street, extending from southeast Second Street to Watergate Boulevard South.
The project will establish a designated bike lane in accordance with the City's 2021 Bicycle Master Plan to allow for safer and more accessible cycling routes. The proposed striping aims to accommodate two travel lanes while preserving parking availability on the majority of both sides of Marshall Street.
Anyone interested in learning more about the project is invited to attend an open house. During the open house, city representatives will be on hand to address questions, provide insights into the development process, and will gather valuable feedback from the community. The open house is scheduled for Jan. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Public Works Facility located at 180 Vickers Dr.
