DEWEY BEACH, De- The 5:00 p.m. deadline for candidates to file for commissioner and mayor in Dewey Beach passed on Thursday. The only candidates to file for the 2022 election were the incumbents.
As a result the Board of Election and Dewey's Town Manager Bill Zolper deemed that Mayor Bill Stevens and Commissioner Gary Persinger will serve another two year term.
