Ocean City, Md. - A positive change coming to Ocean City’s public transportation system. The current bus tracking service, TransLoc, is set to bid adieu later this month. The upcoming OCMD Beach Bus App, scheduled for release in February 2024. The new app promises to seamlessly replace TransLoc and elevate the tracking experience for Android and Apple device users. In addition to the app, a new web-based tracking URL will cater to a broader audience. While the transition may cause a temporary gap in tracking services, the Town says it is working diligently to minimize any inconvenience. Town strives to ensure a swift and smooth shift to the upgraded tracking system, ultimately enhancing the overall public transportation experience.
