POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has announced the closure of a section of MD 371 (Cedar Hall Road) for a pipe replacement project.
The administration says the closure is set to begin just south of Pit Circle Road on Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. They expect work to be completed by Sept. 29, weather permitting.
According to the administration, contractor Reliable Contracting Co. will use barrels and detour signs to guide drivers around the work zone. They ask drivers to reduce their speed in the area.
Officials say the detour will guide drivers from 371 using the Pocomoke Beltway and Broad Street.
