SALISBURY, Md. - Police are investigating shots fired at a home and a parked car on Zion Road.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded to the 30000 block of Zion Road around 9:30 p.m. on April 8 after receiving reports of gunfire. Deputies arriving on the scene found that both a house and a car parked outside had been struck by bullets. According to the sheriff's office, the house was occupied at the time of the shooting, but no one inside was hurt. No one was in the car that was hit by gunfire.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were called to the scene and have taken over the case. They conducted a neighborhood canvass and collected evidence related to the shooting.
