WORCESTER COUNTY, Md.- Starting on Monday, October 16, 2023, seven miles of Route 50 between MD 818 (Main Street) in Berlin to the Wicomico County line near Willards will be repaired.

According to the Maryland Department of Transportation, the resurfacing initiative is part of MDOT SHA's ongoing efforts to enhance road infrastructure and ensure safe and efficient travel for residents and visitors alike. Crews will be hard at work during the weekdays, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work is expected to last from Monday October 16 to December.

Throughout the duration of the project, drivers should be prepared for single-lane closures and subsequent delays.
