Code Purple shelters provide a warm place to sleep during the winter months for the less fortunate. The Love in the Name of Christ organization, also known as Love Inc, runs all Code Purple shelters in Sussex County. The organizations says many Sussex County locations are in need of overnight volunteers. While all volunteers are important, overnight volunteers help the shelters run during their most crucial time of need. The organizations says the shelters in need of overnight volunteers are those in Milford, Seaford, and Georgetown.
