Police are urging people who live there to stay alert and report any suspicious activity by calling 911.

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. - Delaware State Police detectives are investigating a series of thefts targeting residential construction sites across Sussex County and are asking the public for help identifying suspects.

Troop 4 detectives say the thefts have happened in recent weeks, primarily in the Azalea Woods and Liberty West communities near Georgetown, as well as along Morris Street in Ellendale. Investigators say the thieves have been taking plumbing and bathroom materials overnight.

Police are urging people who live there to stay alert and report any suspicious activity by calling 911.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective J. Hill at 302-752-3892 or Detective M. Marino at 302-752-3897. Tips can also be submitted by sending a private message to Delaware State Police on Facebook or through Delaware Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
