SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. - The TidalHealth Foundation has announced Isabelle Thompson as their new Development Officer for Sussex County.
TidalHealth says Thompson will lead in fundraising efforts for communities across Sussex County, playing an important part in the foundation's healthcare initiatives, including patient assistance funding, the Allen Cancer Center, Women and Children's services, and more.
TidalHealth says that, in addition to holding degrees in Health Sciences and Public Health from Southern Maine Community College and Drexel University respectively, Thompson is a Sussex County Native and graduated from Cape Henlopen High School, bringing a wealth of experience to the Foundation.
This announcement comes as TidalHealth makes plans to expand its reach across Sussex County. For example, TidalHealth earlier this month detailed plans to build a new medical campus in Millsboro.
Thompson previously served as a business analyst at the Children's Beach House nonprofit and spent five years with various Philadelphia-based nonprofits, providing a wide variety of perspectives in regard to her community engagement and fundraising efforts.
Jessica Hales, Vice President, Chief Philanthropy Officer and President, TidalHealth Foundation, is excited to welcome Thompson to the team and looks forward to what she'll bring to the organization and Sussex County communities.
“Her deep roots in Sussex County and her commitment to advancing healthcare access align perfectly with our mission," says Hales. "We look forward to the impact she will make in growing philanthropic support for TidalHealth Nanticoke.”
