SNOW HILL, Md. — Unofficial results from the Snow Hill Tuesday general election for the Central District Council seat show Council member Aaron Lumpkins leading with 60 votes, defeating challenger Madelyn Lampron, who received 8 votes.
A total of 68 in-person votes were cast out of 584 registered voters in the Central District. The Board of Elections also collected 2 absentee ballots and 1 provisional ballot.
While these results are unofficial, the final outcome will be certified on May 28, when the Board meets to count all absentee ballots postmarked by or before Election Day and any approved provisional ballots.
Per the town charter, newly elected officials will be sworn in during the regular Town Council meeting on June 10, 2025, and will begin their two-year terms immediately after
