Ocean City Air Show cut short on Saturday

Ocean City Air Show To Showcase Historical Planes. (2024)

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Saturday’s air show in Ocean City was cut short due to deteriorating weather conditions, as low cloud ceilings and poor visibility fell below Federal Aviation Administration minimum safety requirements. As a result, several scheduled performances, including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, were canceled.

Organizers said safety remains the top priority, and Saturday’s conditions left no safe margin to continue flight demonstrations.

While the event’s published policy states that tickets are nonrefundable in the event of weather impacts, organizers are extending a special courtesy to Saturday ticket holders by offering access to Sunday’s show.

Ticket holders will receive a direct email from the event’s admissions team with RSVP instructions based on their ticket type. Attendees are encouraged to read the message carefully and respond promptly.

Organizers look forward to clear skies and a full schedule of performances on Sunday.
