Delaware State Police are investigating fraud-related thefts at Sartin Memorials/Absolute Granite Liquidators in Bear.

A Bear man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and drug dealing in Delaware’s first successful homicide prosecution against a fentanyl dealer for causing a deadly overdose.

 CoastTV reported a crash involving a motorcyclist on Coastal Highway Monday evening. Delaware State Police confirm the 19-year-old motorcycle driver from Bear was critically hurt in the crash on Jan. 13 after fleeing from a Delaware State Police trooper.

Delaware State Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a horse and its rider that happened on Dec. 17 at Pearson’s Corner Road near Kenton Road.

Authorities in New Castle County continue to search for a suspect who shot and injured three people Tuesday night. It was in the Salem Woods community near Bear. 

According to police, store employees said that the man passed out in an aisle after he intentionally inhaled multiple cans of air duster spray that he did not purchase.

One man and two teens have been arrested so far, with police still looking for a 16-year-old Middletown boy.
