The Delaware House passed legislation Tuesday aimed at increasing safety and strengthening oversight of fireworks use and sales across the state.
The legislation allows licensed professionals to work in participating states without undergoing duplicate licensing processes.
House Bill 280 would allow Delawareans to display a discreet butterfly symbol on state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards. The symbol would signal that the cardholder has a nonapparent disability, helping communicate a person's needs.
