A new trailhead and recreational area, the first phase of the Stephen P. Hudson Park, will open on Nov. 4 near Milton. Developed by the Sussex County Land Trust, the park sits on 30 acres and aims to provide public access to the property and serve as a strategic trailhead between Lewes and Georgetown, with potential future developments including restrooms, a perimeter trail, and picnic areas.
The park says the closures are to allow for repairs that will help to improve the park in preparation for the summer.
