ELLENDALE, Del.- A spontaneous combustion is being blamed for a barn fire in Ellendale.
According to the Ellendale Volunteer Fire Company, it happened on Beaver Dam Road around 7:23 a.m. The fire company says materials stored in the 30 foot x 40 foot manure shed at a poultry farm ignited, and firefighters from Ellendale, Greenwood, and Bridgeville worked to put it out.
There were no reported injuries to any animals or people.
