The City of Rehoboth Beach adopts its first strategic plan for 2025, focusing on infrastructure, operations, public access, and amenities, with detailed strategies and key priorities outlined for development and improvement.

According to city leaders, the proposed curfew would apply to people under the age of 18 and would restrict their presence in public areas between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. 

Don Preston has stepped down from the Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners, leaving city officials with the task of filling his unexpired term.

The Rehoboth Beach Patrol Station that is currently under construction is now projected to be over budget by $590,555 and behind schedule by a month.

The City of Rehoboth Beach has announced that City Manager Laurence Christian is resigning, effective Nov. 3. Christian has been at the city for eight months.
