The holiday season is in full swing, and Delaware Natural Resources Police are reminding people that there’s still time to donate to the annual Toys for Tots campaign.
A person was hurt while swimming in the surf around 11:39 a.m. Sunday at Cape Henlopen State Park, according to Delaware Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
The Delaware Natural Resources Police have officially kicked off their annual Toys for Tots drive. Donation boxes are now in place at various DNREC locations statewide.
After various community meetings and surveys, DNREC proposed user fees for Deauville Beach have been approved. A daily entrance fee or an annual pass will be required to use the beach from Memorial Day weekend though Nov. 30 in 2024. DNREC says Deauville Beach annual passes will be available for sale starting Wednesday, May 15.
