DELMARVA-  We're still seeing areas of haze of smoke from the wildfires in central New Jersey. If you suffer from respiratory problem, it's best to stay inside this afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s inland, with coastal areas staying in the 60s due to the influence of cooler marine air. The air quality will improve later this afternoon and evening.

Overnight will be quiet and cool again, under mostly clear skies, with lows in the upper 40s and 50s.

For Friday, the dry trend continues with high pressure still dominant. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s, while coastal locations remain more seasonable, the 60s for highs.

The weather looks great for the start of the DSN Outdoors Expo on Friday. The second day of the Outdoors Expo will be wetter with increasing rain chances.

The next weather maker arrives on Saturday as a low-pressure system and frontal boundary slowly push across the region. Forecast confidence remains low regarding the exact timing and amounts of rain, but rain appears most likely for Saturday. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms, although marine air could dampen instability. Temperatures will top out in the 70s on Saturday. Drier and cooler for Sunday with temperatures in the 60s.
