WARM SATURDAY

DELMARVA- High pressure overhead this afternoon will provide sunny and calm weather for the region. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s , with lighter winds. This evening, expect temperatures to drop quickly into the 40s under clear skies.

Overnight we'll see clear skies and temperatures not as cold as this morning. Lows will drop into the 40s with a light southerly breeze.

Daytime highs will gradually moderate into the 60s and lower 70s on Friday under partly cloudy skies. A southerly breeze increases into the afternoon hours. Friday night will be dry with lows in the 50s.

EGG HUNT

Temperatures will rise well into the 70s and 80s on Saturday under mostly cloudy skies, likely the warmest day of the weekend. Great day for Easter egg hunting. A front could trigger a few showers Saturday night with lows in the 60s. For Easter Sunday, expect sun and clouds with temperatures topping out in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Meteorologist Bob Trihy joined CoastTV in 2023. He grew up in Great River on Long Island, N.Y. Bob caught the weather bug when he was around eight years old and tracked storms up and down the east coast. He witnessed some big ones, like the blizzard of 1978, as well as tropical systems.
