Democratic incumbent Alonna Berry and challenger Ruby Schaeffer are making different cases to voters in the Sept. 15 primary for Delaware House District 20.

Rep. Alonna Berry’s Milton town hall drew questions over county library rules, her absence from a recent candidate forum and Senate Bill 23, as Democratic primary opponent Ruby Keeler Schaeffer attended ahead of the Sept. 15 election.

State Rep. Alonna Berry is scheduled to hold a town hall, giving people an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues affecting the district.

The District 20 Democratic primary pits incumbent Alonna Berry’s record and support for Senate Bill 23 against Ruby Schaeffer’s call for its repeal, with both candidates promising to address housing, development and other issues facing those who live in Sussex County.
