A late-night fire destroyed a barn and garage in Caroline County on Sunday, causing an estimated $170,000 in damage.

Wicomico County deputies and Delaware State Police are continuing to search for the suspect who led law enforcement across multiple counties and state lines in a stolen vehicle chase.

Maryland officials are searching for the person responsible for an attempted arson at Murphy’s Transport in Ridgely.

According to officials, a late-night fire on Saturday, April 19, caused major damage to a Greensboro home.

It took 28 firefighters about an hour to bring the fire under control. No people were hurt, but one dog and five rabbits died in the fire.

Maryland and Delaware authorities, including the Caroline County Sheriff's Office and Delaware State Police, were searching for fugitive Joshua Kyle Murphy, who fled from law enforcement on Oct. 9. Although the active search has been discontinued, Murphy remains at large, and residents are urged to report any sightings to 911.

An investigation is underway into a June 25 mobile home fire at 12640 Kibler Road in Greensboro, Caroline County, which caused $1,000 in damages to the abandoned property and is suspected to be incendiary in nature.
