DELMARVA- High pressure sliding offshore is shifting our winds to the south and ushering in warmer air for Delmarva this afternoon. Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures warming into the upper 60s and lower 70s away from the beaches. At the coast, highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. It gets breezy this afternoon with mild temperatures. 

This evening will be breezy and on the mild side with temperatures in the 60s, some 50s at the beaches. Friday night will be mostly clear, breezy, and not as chilly with lows in the 50s and lower 60s.

EGG HUNT

Temperatures will rise well into the 70s and 80s on Saturday under partly cloudy skies. Cooler 60s at the beaches. It will likely be the warmest day of the weekend. Great day for Easter egg hunting. A front could trigger a few showers or sprinkles Saturday night with lows in the 60s.

EASTER SUNDAY

For Easter Sunday, expect mostly cloudy skies for sunrise service. Temperatures will be in the 60s. Mostly cloudy skies are expected for the rest of Easter Sunday with temperatures topping out in the upper 60s and lower 70s, cooler 50s and 60s at the coast.

Meteorologist Bob Trihy joined CoastTV in 2023. He grew up in Great River on Long Island, N.Y. Bob is used to tracking storms up and down the east coast. He witnessed some big storms, like the blizzard of 1978, as well as some tropical systems.
