DELMARVA- We're seeing low clouds with some peeks of sunshine this afternoon, as weak high pressure dries out Delmarva. Temperatures are warming through the 60s, with highs in the 70s for inland locations, expect 60s and 70s a the beaches.

POPS

This evening we'll see variable clouds with temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

The dry conditions don't last long, as another system moves in overnight, triggering showers and a few thunderstorms late tonight into Friday morning.  Low temperatures will be in the 60s.

STORMS

We could see a dry break Friday morning into the afternoon under variable clouds. Temperatures warm into the 70s to near 80 later in the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms redevelop Friday afternoon and evening. There is a Marginal risk for severe weather. The main threat will be damaging winds.

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY
SEVERE RISK FRIDAY

Showers and storms will linger into Friday night and early Saturday. Heavy downpours and gusty winds could accompany some storms. Expect lows in the 50s to near 60 by Saturday morning.

SEVERE RISK SATURDAY

We could see a bit of a break from the rain Saturday morning, and into early afternoon. However, another round of rain and thunderstorms move in later in the day and into the evening. The threat with the storms could be damaging winds and heavy downpours, with a Marginal risk for severe weather. High temperatures will be in the 70s.

The showers and storms tapers off Saturday night with lows in the 50s.

Sunday is looking drier and breezy, with more sunshine. High temperatures in the 70s.

Meteorologist

Meteorologist Bob Trihy joined CoastTV in 2023. He grew up in Great River on Long Island, N.Y. Bob caught the weather bug when he was around eight years old and tracked storms up and down the east coast. He witnessed some big ones, like the blizzard of 1978, as well as tropical systems.
