Avelo Airlines announced it is extending its Wilmington Airport schedule through mid-February 2026.
The company says flights will utilize the Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft with one-way fares starting at $44.
Avelo's upgrades will be available starting in September.
Avelo Airlines has resumed nonstop service between Wilmington Airport and Nashville, with fares starting at $39 and more new routes launching later this month.
Avelo Airlines has entered into a long-term agreement to operate deportation flights for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, becoming one of the few carriers participating in the government’s deportation flight network.
Starting in May, Avelo will operate twice-weekly flights to both Jacksonville and Raleigh-Durham.
Avelo Airlines celebrated a milestone this week as the airline marked the second anniversary of its inaugural flight from Wilmington Airport to Orlando. For Delawareans and others that live near Wilmington the airline has provided another flight option for travelers.
Currently, a terminal expansion is underway which includes adding a second gate and TSA screening line, enlarging waiting areas, renovating restroom facilities and enhancing food and beverage offerings. Slated to be completed in September 2025, the DRBA anticipates welcoming even more passengers.
According to Avelo Airlines, the route will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays using Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
Avelo Airlines announced an expansion this week, launching six new nonstop destinations from Wilmington Airport (ILG), which serves the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region. According to the airline, the new routes will complement the return of three popular Florida destinations and the addition of a second aircraft based at ILG.
