DELMARVA-  Colder air is settling into the region this afternoon, with highs only reaching the mid 50s. It will be breezy with gusts up to 30 mph at times. Overnight with be mainly clear and cold with lows in the 30s and 40s. Make sure to protect tender plants as temperatures fall close to the freezing mark at some inland spots, with mid to upper 30s at the coast.

FROSTY START

Thursday will be cool and sunny day with temperatures topping out in the 50s. Thursday night will be dry and cold with lows in the 30s and 40s. 

TEMPERATURES

Temperatures warm on Friday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s. Friday night will be dry with lows in the 50s.

SUNDAY SHOWERS

We'll start the weekend dry with partly to mostly cloudy skies Saturday with highs in the low to mid 70s. Cooler at the beaches. Saturday night will be dry and cool with lows in the 50s. Increasing clouds on Sunday with late day showers possible. High temperatures once again in the 60s and 70s.

Meteorologist

Meteorologist Bob Trihy joined CoastTV in 2023. He grew up in Great River on Long Island, N.Y. Bob caught the weather bug when he was around eight years old and tracked storms up and down the east coast. He witnessed some big ones, like the blizzard of 1978, as well as tropical systems.
