DELMARVA - Expected to see leftover showers early Thursday morning as a cold front finishes moving through the region, with rainfall gradually tapering off as the day begins. Overnight lows are expected to stay in the 50s across Delmarva, where the frontal passage arrives latest.
Through Thursday, cooler air is expected to settle in behind the front, although forecasters say temperatures could vary depending on where the boundary stalls. While much of the surrounding region is expected to remain in the 40s to mid-50s, parts of Delmarva could still climb into the 60s or near 70 if the front sets up farther south.
By late Thursday night into early Friday morning, the stalled boundary is forecast to move back north as a warm front. That could bring some light rain , along with patchy fog as low-level moisture increases. The warm front should continue lifting north into Friday morning, setting the stage for a milder end to the week.
